Rumia-Janowo tunnel

Construction of an integration hub in Rumia Janowo

The main task was to optimize the tunnel design solutions in order to reduce the consumption of concrete and reinforcing steel and to develop a tunnel construction technology. The tunnel was designed using the "pipe roofing" technology. The use of this method allowed for the preservation of the newly built SKM platform located above without the need to demolish it.

The whole deck, including the reinforcement, was modeled in BIM, which significantly simplified the work on its implementation.
